At first, candidates find that they focus on improving their knowledge of the language, and gaining a better understanding of the host country’s culture and socio-economic environment . But most importantly, they acquire or consolidate a qualification or professional skills by undertaking a work placement of several months in a company. An experience abroad is a definite plus to a recruiter.

Getting started in the search for a work placement - and more importantly, abroad - is an eadventure that is both exhilarating and confusing. Thanks to its experience and vast network of partners in Europe, SOL can help!
Eligibility criteria:
Leonardo transnational work placements are open to any person in possession of a vocational training or university followed in a European country.
- For an internship in Switzerland: the candidates must be nationals of a country participating in the program or have a permanent residence in this country.
- For an internship in Europe: candidates must have Swiss nationality or permit C.
An internship can begin Leonardo during the training or 12 months after graduation.
The duration of an internship Leonardo is from 2 to 12 months with a participation rate of at least 80%.
